Job Description

The purpose of this assignment is to strengthen the existing operations team in their daily work to ensure a stable, secure, and efficient operating environment. The role involves providing operational support to the team in the daily management of the organization's security and network infrastructure, utilizing modern management, monitoring, and automation tools.

The position includes participating in installation, configuration, and change management within complex environments, particularly where solutions deviate from established standards and require specialized technical expertise. You are also expected to provide technical advice, create documentation, and collaborate closely with other technical areas to ensure effective and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational participation in the daily management, administration, and development of network and firewall environments.
• Work with monitoring, troubleshooting, incident management, analysis, and remediation in complex environments.
• Utilize the organization's management and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, as well as products from Cisco and Check Point).
• Perform installation, configuration, and change management, including handling custom or non-standardized solutions.
• Provide technical advice, produce documentation, and collaborate with adjacent technical fields.

Required Qualifications

• At least three (3) years of documented experience as a Network Technician.
• Documented experience in configuring and operating network products and/or firewalls from at least one of the following vendors: Cisco or Check Point.
• Experience in troubleshooting and incident management within network and security environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Swedish.
• Security Clearance: The assignment requires a passed background check (security clearance) prior to start.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in large and complex IT environments.
• Experience working within classified operations or other activities with very high information security requirements.

Additional Information

• Assignment Period: 2026-09-01 (or as soon as possible after approved background check) until 2027-08-31.
• Extension Option: Possibility to extend until 2028-08-31 (the client may utilize the full or part of the extension period).
• Scope: Full-time (100%).
• Location/Work Style: Stockholm. Requirement to be on-site at the office at least 3 days per week.
